Maryland Live! Sues MGM Over High Roller ListNO Deposit bonus $43

The largest casino within the state of Maryland has sued the impending MGM National Harbor casino over a listing of high rollers.

Maryland Live! Casino filed the lawsuit last week alleging that its former employees provided a highly valuable list of no less than 3,000 high rollers to MGM.

According to a report from NBCWashington.com, MGM has denied the allegations, saying in an announcement: “This lawsuit amounts to nothing greater than a thinly disguised try to stifle the contest Maryland Live! expects from MGM’s National Harbor resort and to take a look at to tarnish MGM’s reputation within the marketplace.”

Maryland Live! says that three casino hosts “unlawfully misappropriated…trade secrets from [the casino] shortly before their terminations. Once they were caught, defendants signed a ‘certification’ wherein they stated that the trade secrets were destroyed and electronic copies returned. Maryland Live! recently discovered that this certification was false.”

Then the list was taken to MGM, the lawsuit alleges.

The casino also says the previous employees had non-compete agreements.

The lawsuit was filed in federal court in Baltimore. MGM plans on opening its $1.3 billion casino at National Harbor before the top of the year.
