Win Systems, global technology supplier for the gaming and entertainment industry, welcomes Ioannis Katakis to its team as head of lottery business solutions, spearheading the growth of this business unit within the company.

Ioannis has a Bachelor´s degree in Engineering, a Masters in Electronic and Telecommunication and a PhD in Bio-Engineering. He served as general commercial & strategy director for the Intralot Group for 17 years. During his time in Intralot he developed and proposed the method and business opportunities within the global gaming markets to the company’s top management, also serving because the lead in winning management and operation contracts in lots of countries all over the world. He established MALTCO Lotteries in Malta (2001), because the operator of the National Lottery of Malta, the primary privatized lottery globally. From 2012 he served as executive CEO of the corporate. As a result of his global achievements he was elected in September 2015, member of the PGRI Gaming Industry Hall of Fame.
