Any choice of great mathematical minds could explain why luck doesn't really are available streaks, but it's tough to argue against momentum. Confidence breeds confidence on the poker table and two of tonight's final nine were bursting with it way to recent scores. Two weeks ago, Slovakia's Epakfailer made the overall table of the Sunday Million, outlasting a field of nearly 7,500 players. Tonight, he did it again. On it's own that's a seriously remarkable feat, but one among his opponent did him one better. Only seven days ago, Agrobot 388Z finished second out of over 32,000 players within the Red Spade Open. Although he missed out at the title, Agrobot 388Z came away with the lion's share of the prize pool, collecting $225,689 after a five-way deal. For many people mere mortals, that's a once-in-a-lifetime score, but Agrobot 388Z doubled it tonight. That's right. Doubled it. This time, no deal was necessary as Agrobot 388Z won the Sunday Million outright, the $224,550 first-place prize pushing his eight-day total to a staggering $450,239.

This week's Million drew 7,485 competitors, the prize pool topping out at $1,497,000. 1,080 players earned a share of it with $224,550 put aside for first place. Twenty Red Spades were within the mix including Jake Cody, Andre Coimbra, ElkY, Humberto Brenes, Andre Akkari, Eugene Katchalov, and Adrienne "talonchick" Rowsome. None of them finished within the money, however.

Blinds were as much as 100,000/200,000 with ten players remaining. After Epakfailer opened for a min-raise to 400,000 and pilouface888 three-bet to 800,000, Ship It 2010 four-bet shoved for 4.93 million from the small blind. Epakfailer folded and pilouface888 called all-in for 3.4 million. Ship It 2010's [Ts][Tc] turned a collection vs. pilouface888's [4c][4h], sending him home at the final table bubble.

Ship It 2010 sails away in ninth

Short stack R Caiaffa got his stack moving within the right direction when he took his [As][Qd] up against Agrobot 388Z's [Jc][Tc] and doubled to 7.4 million. PAULMARCKO also got an early chip infusion upon getting his stack in preflop with pocket sixes vs. Ship It 2010's [Ah][Qh]. PAULMARCKO flopped a collection and rivered sixes filled with eights, doubling to 5.73 million.

After doubling up PAULMARCKO, Ship It 2010 still had a healthy 5.85 million. However, at the next hand, Ship It 2010 four-bet shoved with [As][Kd] and Agrobot 388Z called with [5s][5c]. Agrobot 388Z's pair held up and Ship It 2010 was suddenly at the rail in ninth place ($11,601.75).

OneTime1Time snaps off AA

Agrobot 388Z widened his chip lead even further, moving as much as 25.7 million before he picked up [As][Ad] and smooth-called OneTime1Time's opening min-raise. The flop came down [6s][3d][2c] and OneTime1Time continued for 777,777. Agrobot 388Z called. The turn was the [Tc] and OneTime1Time fired another 1,257,913. Again, Agrobot 388Z smooth-called. The river paired the board with the [Th] and OneTime1Time shoved for 4.72 million. Agrobot 388Z practically beat him into the pot, only to observe OneTime1Time roll over [Qd][Td]. Agrobot 388Z's aces snapped off, he fell to 18.2 million while OneTime1Time doubled to 15.6 million.

PAULMARCKO exits eighth, R Caiaffa out in seventh

Back right down to 3.3 million in chips, PAULMARCKO picked up [As][8c] UTG and open-shoved, only to run into Agrobot 338Z's [Qd][Qs]. PAULMARCKO didn't improve and exited in eighth place ($17,964.00).

PAULMARCKO's elimination left greenrizla because the short stack with 2.94 million. Holding pocket threes UTG, greenrizlo open-shoved and R Caiaffa reshoved from the button with [Ac][Jh]. Greenrizla's baby pair held up at the [Qh][Qc][5s][9d][8d] board, good for a double-up to 6.7 million. R Caiaffa was left with just a million in chips with the blinds as much as 200,000/400,000. Two hands later, greenrizla finished off R Caiaffa in seventh place when his [Kh][8c] rivered a king-high straight.

Epakfailer eliminated in sixth

Epakfailer have been relatively quiet until now, but with the action folded to him within the small blind, he moved all-in for 4.3 million with [Kh][9c]. Ysjah called all-in with [As][5d] within the big blind and rivered two pair, the board finishing [8s][8h][3c][4h][5s]. Ysjah doubled to 6.55 million while Epakfailer fell below one million. Five hands later, Epakfailer's remarkable run came to an end. Nearly half his stack committed within the big blind, Epakfailer called all-in with [4d][Td] vs. Agrobot 388Z's [Ad][5d]. An ace hit the flop and Epakfailer was out in sixth place. Add the $46,407 Epakfailer earned tonight to the $150k and alter he banked within the four-way chop on October 27th and you have got a three-week Sunday Million haul totaling $197,282.95.

Greenrizla out in fifth, Essa mania falls in fourth

Ysjah picked up pocket kings a couple of hands later and doubled through Agrobot 388Z, unfortunate enough to drag [9d][9c] at the same deal. However, Agrobot 388Z recovered those chips in brief order. OneTime1Time opened for a min-raise to one million and greenrizla three-bet shoved for 7.11 million with [Kh][Qc] at the button. Agrobot 388Z reshoved 10.1 million from the small blind and OneTime1Time folded. Agrobot 388Z's [Ad][As] held up this time and made a wheel at the [5d][2c][2d][3d][4h] board. Greenrizla was eliminated in fifth place, taking home $61,377.00.

Ysjah was the quick stack four-handed, holding 6.8 million while his three opponents sported stacks between 21 and 26 million. Although Agrobot 388Z picked up [Kc][Kh] and was poised to knock him out, Ysjah's [Ah][9c] flopped an ace and Ysjah doubled to 14.6 million.

Essa mania lost most of his chips to OneTime1Time. In a three-bet pot, OneTime1Time c-bet 2,222,222 at the [Qs][8c][7s] flop and Essa mania called. The turn came the [As] and OneTime1Time check-raised all-in, leading Essa mania to surrender his hand. All the way down to 8.1 million, Essa mania open-shoved with [As][7s], but bumped into Agrobot 388Z's [Ac][Jd]. Agrobot 388Z's dominating handheld up and Essa mania hit the rail in fourth place, collecting $79,341.00.

Time's up for OneTime1Time

As three-handed play commenced, Agrobot 388Z led with 26.7 million. OneTime1Time was close behind with 25.9 million and Ysjah held 22.1 million.

Ysjah soon tangled with OneTime1Time, who opened for a min-raise to 1.6 million at the button. Ysjah called from the large blind and so they saw a [Kd][Td][7c] flop. Ysjah check-called 1,234,567, then checked again when the [5s] hit the turn. OneTime1Time checked behind. The river was the [3d] and Ysjah checked a 3rd time. OneTime1Time bet another 2,345,678 and Ysjah called, revealing [Jh][Th] for second pair. OneTime1Time was bluffing with [2h][6s] and Ysjah raked within the 11 million pot, boosting his chip count to 30.1 million. OneTime1Time fell to 16.5 million.

Two hands later a preflop raising war broke out between Agrobot 388Z and Ysjah. Ysjah min-raised to 1.6 million, Agrobot 388Z three-bet to 3,555,555, and Ysjah came visiting the highest for 6.52 million. Agrobot 388Z five-bet shoved for 29.4 million and Ysjah relented, the 22.9 million pot landing with Agrobot 388Z. Agrobot 388Z moved as much as 36.6 million while Ysjah fell to 23 million.

A couple of orbits later, Agrobot 388Z four-bet shoved pre flop for 40.3 million and OneTime1Time called all-in, revealing [Ac][7c]. Agrobot 388Z's pocket sixes won the race, the board running out [Tc][3d][2c][4s][Kh]. OneTime1Time was out in third place, $119,760.00 headed his way.

Ysjah went to work erasing the three to one chip defect, opening for a min-raise to two million. Agrobot 388Z shoved and Ysjah snap-called, revealing [Ah][As]. Agrobot 388Z's [Ac][2h] went up in flames at the [Th][6c][3h][Ks][9h] board and Ysjah doubled to two5.4 million.

Only six hands later, Ysjah opened for a min-raise to 2 million and Agrobot 388Z shoved from the massive blind. Ysjah called, his [Ad][5c] dominated by Agrobot 388Z's [As][Th]. Although Ysjah outflopped Agrobot 388Z by hitting top two pair, Agrobot 388Z caught running hearts to make a queen-high flush and locked up the win.


Congratulations to our newest Sunday Million champion Agrobot 388Z on an implausible run. He banked $224,550.00 for the win tonight, bringing his eight-day total to $450.239. Kudos also are as a result of Ysjah, who went from the quick stack with four to visit runner-up, good for $165.223.89.
