The Heat are already accustomed to a must-win situation on this best-of-7 series, as they trailed 3-2 heading into Friday’s Game 6 in Miami. Dwyane Wade and Co. came out with a 103-91 victory as a 3.5-point favorite to force the decisive Game 7.
If the rage at CG is any indication, perhaps the warmth will advance to the Eastern Conference finals to stand the Cleveland Cavaliers.
“We need the Raptors to win, because such a lot action was on Miami moneyline,” Simbal said. “We have thrice more cash on Miami moneyline than at the Raptors.”
The line hasn’t moved at CG, which operates Las Vegas sportsbooks on the M, Venetian and Cosmopolitan, among others, and the road has also remained steady offshore at Bookmaker.
“Our action is pretty split, as some bettors are backing the veteran-laden Heat, while others see a Game 7 and autoplay the house team,” Lester said. “It's just about all public money at this point, hardly any interest from our sharper players.”
Lester added that the whole has dropped from the outlet choice of 190 right down to 187.5.
“The total ticked down a whole point throughout the first hour at the board,” he said, adding he likes where both the road and total stand now. “We feel pretty confident in these numbers, and that is what you are expecting when you've seen the similar teams square off six straight games.”
CG books have also seen under betting, moving from 189.5 to 188 by Sunday morning.
“They have bet the under, but nothing of note,” Simbal said.
