Action from the actual world came from Melbourne, Australia, where the Asia Pacific Poker Tour was in full swing with a major event field of 523 players.

This week however is the turn of Malta to polish within the poker limelight because the European Poker Tour gets underway with the €10K single re-entry event tomorrow evening. It is the third time the tour has landed at the island, with past winners including Jean Montury and Niall Farrell.
