Table games competition headlines November conference

092514 TGC 300Raving's Leading edge Table Games Conference, to be held November 17-19 on the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, will hold its unique Best New Table Games competition that gives the winning game an ordeal at four casinos nationally.

The Best New Table Games Competition, presented by the event's sponsor publication, Casino Journal, is designed to acknowledge new table games and their inventors, companies and promoters, whose new games, as judged by casino table game operators and marketing executives, have the most productive combination of player appeal, ease of understanding, and potential commercial success.

The winner of the most productive New Table Games Competition will, assuming the mandatory licensing and regulatory requirements are satisfied, receive floor space at Bucky's Casino; Grey Eagle Casino (Canada); Muckleshoot Indian Casino; and Saratoga Casino Black Hawk.

"The Best New Table Games contest is the center piece of our three-day event, which has become the premier table games conference within the industry," said Dennis Conrad, President and Chief Strategist, Raving Consulting Company, which co-produces the development with BNP Media Gaming Group. "Our attendees consistently let us know they prefer with the ability to see the brand new table games in order to be hitting the market; they cannot do this in any such dedicated fashion with such an intensive focus anywhere else."

There are currently 25 games entered within the contest, represented by 18 companies. Exhibitors on the conference may have dedicated "play time" throughout the opening night reception and all networking breaks between sessions. Attendees, namely table game operators and other casino executives from around the casino industry, can be encouraged to take part and cast a vote. The winners of the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards could be announced Wednesday afternoon, November 19. Additionally, Galaxy Gaming, sponsor of the Table Games Conference, can be offering the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of Casino Journal's Best New Table Games of 2014 Competition additional benefits and development services.

The conference will kick off Monday, November 17, with a day-long Advantage Player pre-conference workshop, followed by two full days of sessions. The primary conference program will begin with Dr. David Schwartz's 3rd Annual Table Games Report, compiled by the UNLV Center for Gaming Research. New additions to this system include a two-part session entitled, "Threats From Both Outside and inside - Scams, Cheats, Collusions and Other Current Table Game Situations That Eat Away at Profitability and Player Trust," and two signature sessions led by noted table games authority Jim Kilby.
