Sunday VIP Club Live seminar in KölnNO Deposit bonus $43

A little greater than a year ago I rented my little poker office at a building complex called Solution Space within the heart of my city Cologne - right next to the impressive cathedral called the Dom.

Initially, the explanations for deciding to get an outdoor working space in preference to staying at home were to extend my productivity, improve daily motivation, and extra my ability to socialize or network with others in a business that has seen me sit at home, alone in front of my computer for years. Even coaching sessions with my students on Skype or streaming poker on Twitch in front of a big audience didn't really provide me with what only social interactions in real life can.

The idea of having the ability welcome my students at my very own office for personal poker coaching and group seminars was born, and the central location near the Dom and the central Cologne train station seemed the easiest fit for the sort of project. I'VE now had around a dozen of live poker seminars here with numerous students and different topics every time. I'VE really enjoyed these experiences as they - for a transformation in my career - provide me with a chance to perform a little training with real cards, chips, and people!

I remember the day when PokerStars approached me asking if I had an concept for something special I WANT to do with a bunch of PokerStars players for a VIP Club Live experience event. The one natural response that came to my mind was: "Let's do a poker seminar at my office!"

So, we did it! PokerStars immediately helped me pimp up my previous seminar equipment on the office by upgrading my table to this awesome customized beast which I just love:

...and we were ready! The date was April 17th, and the format was 6-max as that may be where my expertise in ring games lies. PokerStars publish the experience within the VIP store for a value of 6,000 Starcoins, and that i was stoked to peer my very own seminar being offered there. Just imagine opening up your PokerStars client one morning to peer a pop-up along with your own VIP Club Live experience, and you may probably know the way I felt.

April 17th came around, or even though I had done countless seminars on my own before, I USED TO BE if truth be told getting a little bit nervous while preparing everything that day. Would the crowd get along? Wouldn't it be a groovy experience for them? Would they be capable of take enough out of my teachings?

All my nervousness immediately disappeared when the gang met in front of my office. They were all super nice guys, and we started the banter about our favourite hobby right from the get-go!

The topic I chose for this seminar was "Bet-sizing and Live Poker Tells." After a brief introduction, some coffee, and more banter, we kicked off the action by playing an actual SNG on my red #grindingitup felt. Before the cards were within the air, I made sure everyone got their welcome presents within the type of a card protector sponsored by the PokerStars VIP store along side a very powerful equipment to create fake tells in true TeddyKGB manner: a pack of Oreo cookies!

While dealing cards to my students I kept watching them closely for potential tells and addressing their collection of bet-sizing in numerous situations. After each interesting hand we paused the action and began discussing the crucial aspects together. It's these times and times again once I hear different people discuss their thought process in poker that I AM GETTING amazed at what number of facets this game has and the way different everyone perceives these. It really makes me believe that this game reflects life in a pure sense. It helps everyone in opening up new perspectives and broadening their horizons. The similar applied for everybody involved, because the common feedback from all seminar participants was how valuable it may be to listen to others' opinions and thoughts on different spots throughout the game. Even if everyone had different poker backgrounds, all of them appeared to be taking so much out of the gang discussions.

After a brief coffee break, the SNG went into its hot phase. There have been a pair surprises looking ahead to the participants. PokerStars had some extra added value for everybody by sponsoring us with one of the most hottest items from the VIP store which I'LL give out in response to each participants' finishes within the SNG:

I tried to record up to possible in between dealing and training to maintain just a little memory token of the experience for everybody. The overall version of this VLOG is in German language on my YouTube channel, so in the event you do not realize German just skip the primary part until minute-mark 4:48 for many impressions from that day:

All in all, we had an unbelievable Sunday in my office in the midst of my hometown Köln doing together what all of us share as a keenness. The gang dynamic was simply awesome. We learned and laughed so much together, and the feedback from the players was positive:

I am disposing of inspiring memories of an excellent day and funky new acquaintances while already waiting for my next Sunday Seminar.

Currently I'M hosting them on a slightly spontaneous basis myself (you'll book them through my website www.grindingitup.com) but keep having a look into the PokerStars VIP store under Live Events. Maybe there'll be another chance so that you can get a ticket along with your StarsCoin within the future!
