5.30pm: Double knockout ends day earlyThe plan was to play to 40 players day and we've reached that time just 50 minutes after bursting the bubble. That's in no small part right down to Darren Woods who ends the day as chip leader with 907,000.
He won a large pot to finish the day when he eliminated Mark Hawks and Sylvester Geoghegan within the same hand. Woods had queens and managed to vanish Hawks red jacks and the ace-king of Geoghegan on a 3♣7♦T♦8♥4♥ board.
He'll have a large chip lead heading into Day 3. -- NW
5.10pm: Chip counts and within the moneyWe've updated the counts of everyone left in here and are chronicling those who've busted within the money here. -- NW
5pm: Exits a plentyAs is so often the case the pressure release of the bubble bursting is followed by a slew of departures. We're already all the way down to 49 players here in most cases Event with Colin Marks (55th) Robert Schulz finishing (54th) and UKIPT Edinburgh finalist Tomasz Raniszewski (53rd) the primary players to min-cash for a corpulent £1,660 considering the buy-in is £770.
Next to exit was Pierre Chambon, he three-bet all-in for 54,500 with A♦K♦ but couldn't out race the pocket sixes of Christopher Corkhill. He's as much as 230,000 as a result.
Then Simon Deadman took care of 2 players in a single hand when he found pocket kings. They started and stayed sooner than Shahid Hussain's A 9 and Paul Febers's A♠Q♥. Deadman is as much as 260,000. -- NW
4:50pm: The run-baddersIt's all smiles and back-slaps amongst the cashers but let's take a moment out to keep in mind the poor souls who missed out on financial remuneration by a whisker:

LEVEL UP: BLINDS 2,000-4,000-500
4:45pm: Back to play to 40The break has come and gone and we're able to move forward with the tournament after that surprisingly rapid bubble period. The plan is to play to 40 players that allows you to precipitate the tip of day 2. -- RS
4:25pm: Break timeThe players at the moment are on a 20 minute break, well everyone except Victoria Coren Mitchell who's multi-tabling as she's also entered the High Roller. -- NW
4:16pm: Gregory Chambers bubbles UKIPT Isle of ManMahmood Rasheed's exit in 57th place took us to the bubble and there has been no protracted bubble and even need for hand for hand as before the clock may well be paused Gregory Chambers went out at another table.
He shoved for 43,700 from the button excessive of Andre Wagner's 6,500 open and, once you have a count, Wagner made the call.
Wagner: A♥T♣Chambers: 5♥5♣
It was a race and it was person who favoured the over cards because the board came J♦A♦6♠T♠3♣ to burst the bubble.
Wagner is as much as 250,000 and he and the opposite remaining players at the moment are all within the money. -- NW
4:12pm: Bubble Time!56 players remain, 55 are becoming paid. You recognize what that suggests! The pressure cooker was ramped as much as the max. There's some sweaty palms amongst the shorter stacks available in the market. Who would be the bubble? -- RS
4:11pm: Szeto falls foul of coin-flip variancePhillip Szeto looks a possible candidate to complete just outside the payouts, having lost most of his stack in a large flip.
The hand that saw his stack decimated began with the Rational Group's Adam Kelly raising and Szeto moving all-in with pocket tens to position maximum pressure on.
Kelly made the decision with A♠Q♦ and duly won the flip over the A♥8♦2♠5♠4♣ board.
Kelly was beaming at moving over the 100,000 mark. "I HAVE plenty of chips now," he said smiling whilst a quiet Szeto has an insignificant 12,000 to his name and will well be a faller over the following couple of hands. -- RS
4:00pm: Straghalis bows outChris Straghalis has perished, unable to check last year's deep run.
"I did it to myself," he told us. "My exit hand that i just shoved 19,500 in with ace-jack, Thomas Ward called with pocket eights and I never got there."
We've enjoyed Straghalis' mercurial sartorial choices within the tournament, and he'll be missed as he departs just previous to the cash.
Just 59 remain now... -- RS
3:50pm: Febers doubles upBy the time the PokerStars Blog reached the table Wei Li's cards were already face down within the muck but Paul Febers cards were plain to look - A♥K♦ - which had connected rather nicely with the 4♣9♦Q♥K♥4♠ board. The UKIPT Galway runner-up, who bubbled UKIPT4 Marbella in June, doubled as much as around 130,000. -- NW
3:43pm: Deadman walking...but barely. Simon Deadman isn't in great shape with just 40,000 at this point.
He lost much of his stack firing two bullets(17,400 and 22,300) on flop and switch of a T♥T♠4♥Q♣A♦ board, only to be check-called twice before checking back the turn and river.
His opponent turned over pocket jacks and Deadman mucked.
"I did not have enough chips to make you fold the river," mused Deadman.
3:35pm: Chef of the YearMeet Manx Chef of the Year Darren Woods, who when he is not cooking up a storm, loves to play a place of poker. He's as much as 280,000 in most cases Event. Earlier this week Sarah Grant nabbed him for a chat.
3:25pm: ExitsThe bubble creeps ever closer as just 61 players remain, 55 of whom gets paid. Those who've just missed out are: Yaniv Peretz, Daniel Johnson, Barry Curtis, David Radnor, Stephen Kilpatrick, Dermot Blain, Jacob Hicklin, Anthony Galloway, Brynjar Bjarkason, Thomas Gill, John Bousfield, Paul Orritt, and end of Day 1A chip leader Donald Rae. -- NW

3:15pm: Delgado out as Hill climbsSound the double knockout klaxon! David Hill just dispatched Team PokerStars Online's Vicente Delgado and Bartosz Piesiewicz within the same hand.
The action was started by David Marmion who opened to 5,000, Delgado then shoved for around 12,000 total, Hill, then moved all-in excessive from the small blind just for Piesiewicz to transport all-in from the massive blind for approximately 40,000. Back on Marmion he folded what he later said was ace-king and it was time for showdown.
Delgado: A♣5♣Hill: Q♠Q♣Piesiewicz: A♠Q♥
The board ran 7♣7♥9♦9♣4♥ and Hill scooped the lot. - NW
3:12pm: Precision predictionsSome of the quick stacks are making silent prayers to the gods that they make it through to the money spots with just 69 players remaining.
Gary Clarke however is taking a mathematical strategy to his future, removing the emotion.
"I'm 65% to cash I think," Clarke said.
He's fresh from an evening out watching Judge Jules and he gave a hearty thumbs up review for the DJ's performance.
"He was low cost. Doing fist-bumps with people and everything. He doesn't need to do this". -- RS
2:50pm: Tales of glory and woeEvery player's chip trajectory will rise and fall just like the waves inside the day.
The trick is to ensure you aren't washed up on a desert island without a food and water when the surf disperses.
Here are some counts to peruse as we go through the third level of the day.

2:40pm: Whipping up a frenzy
Congratulations to Gary Whipp for taking down the most recent £100+£10 turbo side event for £2,430.
Well played sir! -- RS
2:35pm: Wily Wei Li lays down the law
Wei Li started the day second in chips and has now accumulated a monster stack. He's using it like a sledgehammer, exerting brutal force and often putting players to the test for his or her tournament life.
Moments ago he wielded it like a sledgehammer, betting out an enormous stack of blues (around 100,000) on a J♣5♦2♠ board.
The effective bet was around 60,000 that is what oppponent Paren Arzoomanian had left.
"Why so big?" pondered Arzoomanian aloud before deciding now was not the time to tackle Li and folding.
Li as much as 235,000 now... -- RS

2:15pm: Back for moreThe players have reseated with the bubble looming menacingly at the horizon. 24 more eliminations and everybody gets paid.
There may be tears and metaphorical blood on the felt before then however. A critical period is impending. -- RS
LEVEL UP: BLINDS 1,200-2,400-300
2pm: Release the playersTwo levels are within the books and the 79 remaining players at the moment are on a break. They'll be back in 15, as can we. -- NW
1:52pm: De Meulder count reaches zeroThe demise of Team PokerStars Pro Chris de Meulder just previous to the tip of level 12 has ended any hope of either of the Belgium twins taking down this tournament. -- RS
1:42pm: Early risersSeveral players have risen up in the course of the ranks within the early stages to challenge for the chip lead.
Amongst those are Ian Marmion, one of the crucial Rational Group staff members, who has had a highly productive opening level and a half - as much as 200,000+.
Wei Li has also prospered early on day 2, also a part of the elite club of 200,000 plus players.
Just 94 players remain now as we approach the primary break.
1:36pm: Deadman v Geilich - Round OneThere's something fascinating about watching two such intense players do battle around the felt.
A hand just played out that saw their paths cross and the action was so stuffed with underlying meaning and thought you could not take your eyes off the action.
We joined the hand on an A♥4♦2♠ board - Simon Deadman betting out 6,600 and Geilich creating a relatively quick call.
Come the 3♠ turn, Deadman took a couple of moments before checking and now Geilich picked up the baton, quickly firing 8,500 into the middle.
Deadman squirmed only a touch at this, settling right into a long focused stare down of Geilich. The warmth generated by Deadman's stare might need melted steel but Ludo is fabricated from stronger stuff than that.
Finally he called.
The 8♠ at the river saw Deadman check and Geilich thought for a couple of moments before picking up nine blue chips - sufficient to set Deadman all in and plonking them quickly over the line.
Deadman went back deep into the tank, mulling the entire permutations over in his head.
"You're the most efficient mate," he told Geilich, smiling. "I planned on calling but now I'm changing my mind."
Geilich with earphone in remained perfectly still while this long, quiet vigil pregnant with significance played out.
Finally the clock was called and only as TD Luca counted down "3..2..1.." did Deadman finally fold.
"What you doing to me man, seeking to kill me!" said Geilich as he swept up the pot.
Geilich as much as 110,00, Deadman all the way down to 30,000. -- RS
1:25pm: Cody cold deckedTeam PokerStars Pro Jake Cody is out, the PokerStars Blog didn't see the exit first hand but Cody took to twitter to tweet his exit:
1:15pm: Jones flush with chipsAsk and also you shall receive if a maxim that may be probably rattling around Lee Jones's head at the moment as he just got lucky to stick alive.
Andre Wagner opened to 4,500, there has been a flat call and Jones then moved all-in for 38,800. After you have a count Wagner made the decision and the third player left them to it.
"It's hard to make a pair," said Jones as he turned over 2♦2♣, he was behind Wagner though because the German had Q♥Q♣. "Four diamonds please," said Jones to the dealer who spread a J♦9♦8♦ flop. A collective 'ooh' reverberated across the table. The turn was the K♦ giving Jones a flush and the A♣ river didn't give Wagner an unlikely chop. "That was ugly, people," said Jones as he took the pot. "I've doubled you up twice now," added Wagner. -- NW
Blinds up: 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
1pm: Report back to the rail20 players were eliminated within the opening 40 minutes of play. They're: Sam Grafton, Ronan Gilligan, Gabi Livshitz, Rene Hochmuth, Mo Razavi, Michael Josem, Nikita Staroverov, David Nuth, Jamie McMurdo, Dara Davey, Foyzul Hussein, Scott Byron, Thomas Simm, Derwin Hayes, Yaniv Peretz, Yury Gulyy, Willie Tann, Rudy Raveyts, Mickey Petersen and Isabel Carvalho. -- NW
12:55pm: Tough drawIf you've come to table Deadman/ Geilich/ Blain with bleary eyes, an actual dogfight lies sooner than you today.
The pedigree these three have between them will prove an enormous obstacle to chip accumulation and their differing styles should prove to make for a captivating battle.
Blain has already jumped to 4th within the all-time Ireland money list with $1.8 million in cashes - no mean feat - whilst Geilich has a UKIPT title under his belt from Marbella last year and a highly-watchable, all guns blazing style.
Simon Deadman meanwhile has used his legendary laser-like focus and funky to amass $1.4 million in tournament winnings.
What a face off! -- RS
12:51pm: No luck of the Irish for DaveyIt's been a quick start with a lot of eliminations over the early levels, a kind of being Dara Davey, who had gone to war preflop with compatriot Fintan Gavin holding K♥J♣.
Gavin however made an excellent call with A♥9♦ and was duly rewarded over the 4♠6♦7♣5♥Q♦ board, picking up the pot with ace high to transport to near to 100,000.
Gavin offered his commiserations to Davey, before offering some free poker advice to tablemate Dominic Mahoney.
"You would not have called there would you. You're too tight see?"--RS
12:45pm: Roaring RowsomeTalk about getting out of the gates fast! Adrienne 'talonchick' Rowsome is as much as 135,000 from her start of day 36,400. First she doubled up through Dave Woods with aces against tens and at the very next hand she eliminated two players when she flopped a suite of jacks. -- NW
12:35pm: Plan for the dayWe've been informed by the tournament staff that the plan for today is to play until 40 players remain. That are supposed to take around six levels in line with those within the know. -- NW
12:30pm: Make it RaineIt's been an excellent begin to the day for UKIPT3 leader board runner-up Neil Raine who just made a very good river call to spice up his stack. He opened to 3,200 at the button and Josef Snejberg defended from the massive blind.
On the 9♦8♣2♥ flop Raine c-bet 3,500 and Snejberg smooth called. The Q♦ fell at the turn and both players checked to look the 6♦ complete the board. First to behave Snejberg bet 6,300 and Raine went into the tank. He got confirmation of the bet size after which made the call, Snejberg grimaced and turned over 5♠2♠ whilst Raine showed A♥2♣, for a hero call gone right. -- NW
12:20pm: Earplugs to table 12 pleasePerhaps probably the most interesting start of day table is table 12.
12, 1, Stephen Day, United Kingdom, 135,00012, 2, Nikita Staroverov, Lithuania, PokerStars Qualifier, 29,90012, 3, Derwin Hayes, Ireland, 23,70012, 4, Sam Grafton, United Kingdom, PokerStars Qualifier, 76,30012, 5, Fatima Moreira De Melo, Netherlands, PokerStars SportStar, 91,60012, 6, David Rees, United Kingdom, PokerStars Player, 144,80012, 7, Mindaugas Kriauciunas, Lithuania, PokerStars Player, 29,00012, 8, Matthew Baker, United Kingdom, PokerStars Player, 235,600
It finds Sam Grafton and Fatima Moreira de Melo sat side by side. Both have chips and both have gotten serious chat. Indeed Team PokerStars Pro Christophe De Meulder jokingly offered De Melo money to prevent talking on Day 1A. Her mouth is as sharp as her game so even Grafton may need a battle on his hands to win that war.
The table also has three of the highest 10 stacks dotted around its oval as Matthew Baker, Stephen Day and David Rees are all well placed to make a run at this thing. This table is one to watch, even though it will likely break before the primary break. -- NW
12:05pm: Cards within the air!The survivors from the outlet to 2 flights have converged within the Villa Marina theatre and are starting their journey toward the payouts and beyond. Let's get this show underway. Good luck all! -- RS
12pm: Baker leads 116 remaining playersWelcome to Day 2 of UKIPT4 Isle of Man 2 here on the Villa Marina. Day 2 at the UKIPT is moving day and money day all rolled into one. We'll burst the bubble, with 55 players set to pop champagne corks once that time is reached, and we'll watch closely as larger stacks emerge, able to make a run on the big money on days three and four.
Here's the entire payout information on your delectation and perusal.
Hoping to stick a large stack and make the cash can be Matthew Baker, who leads the best way with 235,000, he's a way away from Wei Li (172,000) and Day 1A chip leader Donald Rae (154,000). Victoria Coren Mitchell had a really perfect Day 1, carrying out with 129,000 that is good for ninth place, whilst Ludovic Geilich (123,000) has run up another big stack and rounds out the highest 10.
Coren Mitchell isn't the only player wearing the Red Spade on Day 2 as quite a lot of others joined her in making it to Day 2. The respective talents of Jake Cody (60,400), Christophe De Meulder (36,600), Mickey Petersen (26,300), Luca Pagano (66,400), Adrienne Rowsome (36,400), Vicente Delgado (76,000) and Fatima Moreira De Melo (91,600) might be spread across the room, although Rowsome and De Meulder are now on the same starting table.
You can see all of the Day 2 seat draw below, it is time to shuffle up and deal.
