Homeless Woman Accused Of Killing Popular World Series Of Poker Dealer 'Elvis' Joe

Long-time World Series of Poker dealer Joseph Levine, referred to as “Elvis Joe,” was killed Wednesday after a homeless woman shot him with a shotgun at his Las Vegas home, police said.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the 56-year-old Levine died from a gunshot wound to the chest at University Medical Center.

The woman is 30-year-old Marjorie Fiora (pictured right).

From the Review-Journal:

[Before the crime], Levine was throughout the residence while Fiora swam with two of Levine’s brothers. The 3 got out of the pool when Fiora, who was nude, went throughout the. brothers told police they heard a gun shot a couple of minutes later, the police report said. As Fiora ran away, she said, “I must kill him,” to the brothers. Probably the most brothers wrestled the gun clear of her as she ran, police said. She went to a close-by house, broke a window and stole a dress. Fiora told two people on the house that she was fleeing from her boyfriend, who was seeking to kill her, police said. Officers found Fiora in another home’s backyard a short while later and arrested her. The police report said that Fiora and Levine knew one another and that she would sometimes stick with him.

Levine, who spent greater than 25 summers working on the WSOP, was well-liked on the Rio Convention Center. Take a look at a video interview with him from 2009.
