KYO self-watering planters are constructed of rotational-molded, recycled polyethylene for its funnel-shaped plant and soil holder. Roto-molding facilitates a fabricated from uniform wall thickness and strength. A double-bottom component to the planter contains porous ceramic that keeps soil moist after watering.
